Editor Spotlight – Leanne Wickham

I’ve been featuring the success stories of newer editors on the website. This is Leanne Wickham’s story. I wanted to include it because it illustrates the power of networking and referrals – Jennifer Lawler

The nonfiction developmental course I did a few years ago with Club Ed was so helpful in my editing journey.

I wanted to share one success story that is ongoing. I have for the last few years been writing a newsletter and have now added a blog post to people who have worked with me, follow me, and those people who are sitting on the fence about what I do.

One of the people who get my newsletter is from a printing company. She has become a great referrer of authors to me. She told me that my newsletter arrived at the right time when she was speaking to three prospective authors. She referred them to me and they signed up for my editing and this week she referred another to me. I am currently in discussions with this new prospective author.
